I am a self-admitted perfectionist with, sometimes, unrealistic expectations. I tend to like to feel like I have complete control over a situation and struggle to hand over the reigns. Given that I have no experience with real estate and had never sold a house before, it was time to bring in an expert. I interviewed three or four different     realtors, but from the first time Tara Cassery walked through my door, my decision was easy.

Tara not only exceeded my expectations, she knocked them out of the park! There are a lot of words that can describe Tara—professional, dependable, organized, compassionate, smart, business-savvy, assertive, sweet, creative, knowledgeable, confident, beautiful (in and out!)...the list goes on. The word that I think best describes Tara is tenacious.

Just about any realtor can put a sign in front of a house, place a couple of strategic ads and holds an open house or two. Tara does all the right things to get a house sold. From the initial (professional) photos, to the staging and the marketing, she is a step ahead of       anyone else. She will go beyond the extra miles to make her clients happy. On top of it all, she has amazing sales skills. When she has the opportunity to meet with a potential buyer and take them through your home, you would think she was trying to sell her own home. She goes through every detail of the home, not letting the buyer  miss any of the best     assets. Even for those not-so-appealing assets, she can spin them in a way to make just about any buyer want what you have.

Now to the tenacity. Tara will get feedback from every realtor and every buyer who walks through your home. She will go back again and again, if necessary, until she can provide you with an answer. Her personal style is extremely persuasive; she has the highest ethics and most importantly, will bring you the right buyer for your home. Within about three weeks, we had three viable offers, two of whom went “back to the drawing board” to bring their best offers. We got more money for our house than we thought possible in a downward spiraling market, which, bottom line is really the most important thing.


I hadn’t met Tara before I put my house on the market. Today, I consider her a true friend. If I didn’t give you a good enough prospective here, I would be thrilled to talk to you more about Tara.

My husband and I are experienced homeowners and sellers; in our 26 years of     marriage we have relocated 6 times. With each move, new issues seem to arise        especially with the home sale and purchase. This time, our relocation came during the most depressed real estate market we’ve ever experienced. Nonetheless, we had to       proceed with selling our home as Dave’s job was taking us from MA to VA. In December 2008, a few days before Christmas, we contacted ERA Realty in Westborough and they sent us Tara Cassery.  She arrived the next day with a complete market analysis and    samples of her advertising strategies and staging ideas. To top it off, she brought cookies with a picture of our house on them! She was very enthusiastic and had ideas such as a pre-inspection and home warranty that even we had never done before.

 

We interviewed a few more agents and none could compare to the impression we got of Tara, so naturally we hired her. She worked with us to help us decide on a fair price for our house, we had the pre-inspection, took her staging suggestions, and were waiting for the right time to list our house. We had planned to put our house on the market in March but in February Tara called to tell me that the marketing was picking up and suggested we think about listing earlier. Upon her advice we listed the 2nd week in February and she was right—our house sold in 1 day!

 

Throughout the process, Tara consistently went above and beyond our expectations to meet our needs and to make sure our house closed successfully. We were in constant   communication. She called when there was any information to share and I felt that I could call her anytime and she was readily available to talk.  Even though we got an offer before we were officially on the market, she continued with her marketing strategies. She had a video tour done, made beautiful brochures, and created a comprehensive website of our home. When some minor work needed to be done, I didn’t have to worry about it because she met the contractors at our home so we didn't have to. Above all else, she drove over 2 hours one night to pick up the purchase and sale agreement!

 

She remained in contact with us through the closing and offered her assistance should we need anything. We cannot say enough good things about the professionalism, positive    attitude, and energy that Tara possesses. We have recommended her to everyone we know and will continue to do so. Even with our extensive experience in buying and   selling real estate, Tara had new ideas and was truly the best real estate agent we have worked with.
